In the U18 Football An Riocht beat St Patricks 3-9 to 0-8; goals from Jack Rafferty, Liam Rodgers and Ronan Campbell helped us to the Minor 'B' Final where we will face the Atticall/Newry Mitchels amalgamation. An Riocht Subway Player of the Match Paddy McComiskey.
The winner of the All Ireland Football Final ticket draw was Deaglan O'Reilly and second prize went to James Reilly.
In the U16 Football An Riocht beat Saval 2-16 to 1-9 under the Dunavil lights. Saval started smartly and were one nil up when Curtis Flanagan pulled off two great saves in quick succession that inspired his outfield players to improved effort and Jack Rodgers and Eoin Sloan fired home goals as An Riocht hit 2-3 before Saval scored a second time. After a much more even second quarter An Riocht led 2-8 to 0-6 at the break and on the restart grabbed the first three points of the second half to open a winning lead before Saval finished off with a goal towards the end. An Riocht now play Bosco (who beat Clann Na Banna 4-12 to 2-3) in the Final on 2nd October

The Intermediate Camogie Final An Riocht v Longstone went to a replay. An Riocht led 1-6 to 0-2 at half time and should have had the result sewn up before the break.
An Riocht began the better and Carrie Killen struck the upright before Tiarna Donnan swept the rebound narrowly wide. Full forward Lauren Clarke opened the scoring off an Aoife McDowell pass in the eighth minute but Longstone hit back immediately with a point. Aine Fearon landed a forty-five before Aoife McDowell's shot was blocked by the Longstone keeper with the ball spilling to Colleen Fearon who flashed it over the bar. Longstone were dangerous on the break and Louise Rodgers then Orla McAlinden ended promising moves before a second Aine Fearon forty-five put An Riocht four points to one clear but too many other opportunities were not taken and in the twenty eighth minute Longstone pointed a close in free. Carrie Killen looked to have increased the An Riocht lead but the score was not given though in added time An Riocht goaled from an Aine Fearon penalty following a foul on Carrie Killen to leave the score 1-4 to 0-2. Longstone scored five points, three frees, in succession in the third quarter to draw level before substitute Moira Rodgers put them in front for the first time five minutes later. There followed goal mouth action at either end with An Riocht claiming a second penalty and Longstone hitting the post before Tiarna Rooney levelled in the fifty fifth minute. Aoife McDowell then struck the post and Joanna Sloan saved one on one before Aine Fearon edged An Riocht back in front. In the seven added minutes played Longstone levelled and An Riocht had a close call at the other end from Carrie Killen before the final whistle sounded.
An Riocht: Joanna Sloan, Clara Killen, Louise Rodgers, Emma Jayne Magee, Nicole Kelly, Orla McAlinden, Nicole Cunningham, Aine Fearon 1-3 (pen, 2x45), Noelle Fearon, Carrie Killen, Colleen Fearon 0-1, Maria Higgins, Riarna Donnan, Lauren Clarke 0-1, Aoife McDowell.
