FOOTBALL
Eamon Rooney Coaches Reserve Football Championship Final Clonduff III 2-8 v Ballyholland II 1-9
Ballyholland started the stronger and were three points up before Clonduff got to grips with their style of play. Clonduff rattled home a goal but coming up to half time The Harps had moved four clear and then Clonduff got their second goal! The half time score was Clonduff 2-2 Ballyholland 1-6. The Yellas quickly levelled at the start of the second half and then moved ahead. The Harps, however kept it close right to the end and Clonduff were defending like Trojans to keep them at bay. The Cup was presented to Marty Farnon (vice captain) by Fionnuala Rooney:

CAMOGIE
Senior Championship Final Liatroim 0-9 v Clonduff 0-8
Despite Clonduff being defending County and Ulster Champions Liatroim were the overwhelming favourites for the first Camogie final in the wide open spaces of Pairc Esler. The Clonduff and Liatroim U10s had formed a Guard of Honour for the teams entering the pitch. When the game got under way it didn't look that way and at the half-way point Clonduff led by a single point. The second half continued in the same close manner. When time was up the referee indicated four (4) additional minutes but when five additional minutes lapsed the sides were level! A 'strange' free-out in front of the Liatroim goals was then awarded against Clonduff. The game continued until Liatroim got the next score with the clock showing 37½ minutes gone in the second half by the time the whistle was blown! Amazing! The least Clonduff and Down Camogie deserved was a replay.
Clonduff team: Kitty Fegan, Jenna Boden, Fionnuala Carr, Hannah McAteer, Jenny Quinn, Clare McGilligan, Nicola O'Hagan, Onagh McClorey, Karen Gribben, Orla Maginn, Paula Gribben (Capt), Cassie Fitzpatrick, Orla Gribben, Sara Louise Carr, Elizabeth Wilson; Subs used: Ursula Quinn, Petrina Lively; Other Panellists: Charlene Lively, Martina Rooney, Niohmi Murray, Orla Caldwell, Elle Fitzpatrick, Niamh Canning, Kate Kane, Debra Murray
The children in the Guard of Honour were: Ceallagh Byrne, Michaela Harper, Blaithin Shields, Ellen Shields, Meave McPolin, Clodagh Kelly, Eveagh kelly, Laura Close, Cara Savage, Tierna savage, Amy Morgan Katie Morgan, Grace Clancy (Grace was the 'Cup Carrier')
