The Eire Og U-10s participated in the Shane Devlin memorial tournament on Saturday and from the start the Eire Ogs looked lively.  Their first game saw them earn a draw against a strong Saval team then they went on to beat Lisummon and Bosco B.  This good run in the group stages earned them a place in the semi final of the cup where they faced Bosco A.  Unfortunately It was the Bosco team who were victorious at the final whistle.  The Eire Ogs gave a good account of themselves and should be proud of their performances in every game.  Thank you to Glenn GAC for the invitation to attend such a well organised and enjoyable tournament.
U-6, U-8 and U-10 training continues tonight (Wednesday) at the Quarter Road Pitch from 6pm - 7pm.
The Eire Og U-12s travelled to Ballyholland on Sunday morning in the 3rd game of the summer league.  The Eire Ogs played brilliantly and were convincing winners with a scoreline of 11-9 to 1-0.  Well done boys and girls.  Next fixture is a home game against Burren on Sunday morning at 11am.  Players to be at Pats Road at 10.15am.
U-12 training continues tonight (Wednesday) at the Quarter Road Pitch from 6pm - 7.30pm.

There are still 6 people left in the competition namely Ricky McAteer, Catherine Kelly, Gerard McCartan, Agnes Joyce, Darren Joyce and Cathal Rodgers. As the next few weeks are now devoted exclusively to Championship and some  teams are already out of the competition the next round of available fixtures for the competition will not be played until Saturday  3rd October.  Please keep an eye on the website for the list of fixtures closer to the date.

Don't forget if you want to represent the club in Scor na nOg this year be at the clubrooms this Friday at 7.00 pm
