Pete McGrath says a return to the Down hotseat "is a non-issue".
The Mourne County legend, who is current Fermanagh boss, has been linked with a possible return to the Down helm since Jim McCorry stepped down last week, but he says all is focus is on the Ernemen at present:
"I am currently manager of Fermanagh and I'm meeting the county chairman this week," the Rostrevor clubman told The Irish News. "Going back to Down is a non-issue at the moment."
"Jim resigned last week and I'm sure the County Board have protocols there for finding a successor. At this stage, it's something that I haven't given much thought to - and why should I? I am currently managing a team and things have moved very positively in Fermanagh over the past two years, particularly this season, which has been very encouraging and we've moved a rung or two up the ladder
"The Down job is there - obviously they have to appoint somebody - but what is the point in even considering any situation that is utterly hypothetical at this stage."
