The reconvened AGM of Kingdom Youth Club will take place at 7.30pm on Thursday 30th July.

An Riocht sixth annual Social Sevens will be held this year on Saturday 1st August from 1pm to 5pm. Social Sevens is for adults who do not play competitively. Running alongside the JG Donnan Social Football Tournament will be the Carmel Doran Social Camogie Tournament which is run on the same principle as the Football. To take part contact An Riocht at [email protected]

The third and final 'Kingdom Does Strictly' takes place on Saturday 14th November and while that may seem a long way away, practice will begin before the end of August and dancers of all ages, male and female, are still required. If it's something you might consider then don't miss this last opportunity and let Tara know asap.

There will be a Camogie coaching workshop at An Riocht before the end of July. It must be obvious that our camogie coaches are few and far between and spread much too thinly to deliver a quality experience to all our young camogie enthusiasts; the only way to address this serious shortcoming is to increase the number of coaches and coach assistants. Ulster Camogie Development Officer Ger Gribben has agreed to come to Dunavil and deliver a basic workshop to suit current coaches and prospective volunteers, that's parents, family members, former players, anyone who may be willing to give a hand, if you don't who will? More details soon.

Anyone interested in getting involved with the 'Soapbox Derby' on 5th September is asked to attend on Friday evening at 9pm or if that does not suit then contact the club on 02841763681 before then. Our entry has to be confirmed next week so we need to be sure there is sufficient interest in taking part.

On Saturday evening 8th August there will be welcome home for An Riocht Camog and New York Rose Sophie Colgan ahead of the Rose of Tralee Festival in Kerry.
