After the July holiday break the playing season recommences this week. On Tuesday evening the Minors travelled to face Bright. Score details in next weeks notes.
On Thursday evening the Under 16s are at home to Kilclief and then on Friday evening the Seniors are back in action when they are away to Drumaness in ACFL Division 2.
Last weekend's Ladies game at home to Teconnaught was rescheduled to Tuesday evening. Score details in next weeks notes. On Saturday evening they are away to Clonduff.
On Sunday morning the Under 12s return to action when they are at home to St Pauls. Then on Monday evening the Under 14s are away to Bryansford with the Minors again in action on Tuesday 28 July when they are at home to Ardglass.
The Under 8s took part in the Ballykinlar Tournament on Saturday morning. Numbers were low due to the holidays but the squad put in good performances against Bosco and Ardglass in the group stages. They lost out to the host side in the semi-final stages. Thanks to Ballykinlar for the invite and to the parents for their support on the day. The Under 8s will not be taking part in a blitz on Saturday 25 July due to the holidays.
Training for the Under 6s, Under 8s and Under 10s has started again on Tuesday evenings at 6.30pm.
Camogie training on Wednesday nights starting on 22 July from 6.30pm to 7.30pm. Everyone welcome.

St Johns Fun Day will be held on Saturday 1st August from 2.00pm. This will include the Sofa-2-5K run that the troops have been in training for over the past 2 months. This will be a fun day for all the family.
As part of the Fun Day it is planned to have an obstacle course challenge. This will be run in teams of 4 per team. The obstacles will include climbing high, crawling, balance and much more. Teams can include anyone from age 16 upwards, including old crocks! There will be prizes for the winning team. The obstacle course will be fun but also challenging. Can your team win. St Johns Masters will be taking part in the An Riocht Social 7s on Saturday 1st August from 1.00pm to 5.00pm. This is aimed at anyone who no longer plays any competitive football. Anyone looking to take part should contact Eugene O'Boyle (07764962676) or Ciaran Cahill (07740839274).
The upcoming weekly cleaning rota for the clubrooms is Maureen O'Connor's group for week commencing 26 July.

St Johns Lotto jackpot has been won! Congratulations to Sean Fitzpatrick who has scooped the Lotto jackpot of £6,050. The lucky numbers were 6 - 10 - 13 - 21. Joe McWilliams was a £10 winner. The jackpot next week is now £1,000.
