Glasdrumman club notes

July 06, 2015

The Eire Og u-10s took part in the Longstone tournament on Saturday despite playing some great football in the group stages they didn't manage to take home some silverware as Bosco A beat them in the quarter final stage of the shield.  Well done everyone!  Thank you to Longstone for the invitation to attend an enjoyable tournament.

U-6, U-8 and U-10 training continues this evening from 6pm until 7pm at the Quarter Road pitch.

The Eire Og U-12s travelled to Burren on Sunday morning and suffered a defeat.  The scoreline did not do justice to the Eire Ogs as they fought and battled hard for every ball and played some brilliant quick passing football.  Well done boys!  Next up is the Ambrose Rogers tournament in Longstone on Sunday.  Details will be given out at training on Wednesday evening.
Training continues this evening from 6pm until 7.30pm.

The Eire Og U-14s took part in a tournament in Attical on Saturday.  They played some great football and were deserved of their place in the Semi final of the cup, unfortunately, this was to be their last game of the day as opponents Longstone won the game.
Well done Boys.  Thank you to Attical for an enjoyable day.

The U-16s travelled to Ballyholland on Wednesday evening.  Despite a good team effort from Eire Og, Ballyholland were just too strong and it was the home side that were victorious.  Keep an eye on the facebook page for details of training.
