The Seniors hosted Loughinisland at Pairc Naomh Eoin on Friday evening but lost on a scoreline of 3-17 to 2-9. Scorers were Scorers: Marty Keenan 1-4, John Clarke 0-1, Conor Burns 0-1, Chris McKay 0-1, Conor Gilmore 0-2 & Anthony Doran 1-0. Their next game is on Friday 24 July when they are away to Drumaness.
The Ladies secured a 4-12 to 1-5 win at home to Aughlisnafin last Tuesday evening. On Tuesday 7 July they were away to Tullylish. Score details in next weeks notes. On Saturday 18 July the Ladies are at home to Teconnaught.
The Minors lost by a single point in a high scoring encounter away to Dromara last Tuesday evening. The final score was Dromara 8-12 St Johns 7-14. On Tuesday 7 July they were away to Dundrum. Score details in next weeks notes.
The Under 16s enjoyed a 10-11 to 1-10 win away to Dundrum last Thursday evening.
The Under 14s had no game as Monday evenings game against St Pauls was postponed. On Monday 6 July they were at home to Aughlisnafin. Score details in next weeks notes.
The Under 12s lost by 3 points at home to Bredagh last Sunday on a scoreline of 2-11 to 2-8. On Tuesday evening they secured a 4-12 to 4-8 win away to Bryansford. On Sunday they were away to Teconnaught. Despite an impressive first half showing this did not continue in the second half and the home side secured the win. Ciara McMullan, Oran O'Connor and Sam O'Connor were the pick of the players on show.
Training for the Under 6s, Under 8s and Under 10s will resume on Tuesday 21 July at 6.30pm after the July break.

During the months of July and August Friends of St Francis' PS will be up for nomination in Asda's green token campaign. There will be a first prize of £200 and two runners-up prizes of £50 - please ask for these tokens when shopping in the Downpatrick store to raise funds for our local primary school.
