Glasdrumman Club Notes

May 11, 2015

The u-10s lost to a strong Atticall team last Monday evening.  Despite the result, there was some brilliant team work and great football on display.  Keep up the hard work in training boys and girls!  Training for the U-6s, U-8s and U-10s continues on a Saturday from 4pm until 5pm at the Quarter Road pitch.  Next U-10 game is a home game on Monday 18th May against Longstone with a 7pm throw in.
The U-12s suffered a defeat on Sunday morning.  The boys gave a good account of themselves and showed great skill at times throughout the match but Burren were just too strong on the day.  Training on Wednesday evening at the Quarter Road pitch from 6pm until 7.30pm.  The U-12s will take part in the An Riocht tournament on Saturday morning with the 1st game due to throw in at 10.30am.  Next league game in an away fixture against Annaclone on Sunday.  Travel arrangements for both will be given at training.
The older youth club group will be going to Lisburn Swimming Pool on Friday evening.  Bus will leave from the clubrooms at 6pm for those who have booked their place.
The order for the 1/4 zip tops goes on Friday.  If you wish to place an order please contact Catherine Kelly or any committee member before then.
