Down Ladies Senior Football League Carryduff v Bryansford (Páirc Aodha Dhuibh)
Carryduff Ladies turned in a very strong second half to overcome Bryansford and claim two valuable league points on Saturday evening. Mairead Kavangh opened the scoring for Bryansford in the first minute but Jessica Foy's second minute goal should have done more to settle Carryduff but four different forwards shot wide for the home side in the next four minutes before Niamh Molloy pointed. Meanwhile Bryansford had further points from Grainne McClean (4th) and Katie Ward 97th) before Natasha Ferris found the Carryduff net in the eighth minute of play. Hannah Magorrian completed a superb solo run to finish to the Bryansford net to haul Carryduff back into contention immediately and Aimme Lavery's point (10th) put the home side further ahead. Natasha Ferris pointed for Bryansford (14th) and Mairead Kavanagh gave Bryansford the initiative in the 16th minute. Both sides contested every ball and points from Michelle Magee (17th) and Jessica Foy (18th) restored Carryduff's lead. Further Carryduff points from Michelle Magee (21st) and Hannah Magorrian (26th) were answered with converted Bryansford frees from Sophie Louise Clarke (25th) and Natasha Ferris (30th) to leave Carryduff leading at half time by 2-06 to 1-07.
Bryansford's Mairead Kavanagh pointed in the opening minute of the second half to reduce arrears to a single point but a blitz from Carryduff in the opening ten minutes of the second half with two points from Jessica Foy (31st, Free and 32nd), a point from Michelle Magee (33rd) and goals from Foy (33rd) and Emer McKay (35th) stunned Bryansford temporarily.
Carryduff then squandered a number of very good chances kicking five wides on the trot. Bryansford were thrown a lifeline when referee Ollie Burke signalled a penalty in the 46th minute but Carryduff net-minder Susie Baxter was quick off her line to smother the shot. Ferris converted for Bryansford a minute later but further Carryduff pressure resulted in a further point from jess Foy (53rd) and A great solo goal from Kate McKay dashed Bryansford's hopes. Grainne McClean claimed the final score of the game, pointing in the last moments but Carryduff had worked hard throughout the second half to secure a morale-boosting victory, winning 5-10 to 1-10.

ACFL Division II Carryduff v Drumaness (Páirc Aodha Dhuibh)
Carryduff secured a further valuable two league points when they overcame Drumaness at Páirc Aodha Dhuibh. Drumaness openee the scoring in the second minute of play but Carryduff had points from Nicholas Turkington (3rd and 7th), Barry O'Neill (8th) and Jonny Henry (11th) to give them a three point cushion before drumaness levelled affairs with a series of quick scores between the 14th and 20th minutes.
Conor McCullough kicked wide and Turkington dropped a ball short into the Drumaness keeper before he scored the final point of the first half to leave Carryduff with a single point lead at the break on a 0-05 to 0-04 scoreline.
Carryduff put in a very busy second half. Nicholas turkington saw his shot saved before Joe Mcflynn tagged on another point (33rd). in the 6th minute of the half referee Martin Rawlinson awarded Drumaness a penalty which was duly converted by Brian McGivern to give Drumaness a one point lead . That was negated when Turkington converted a free kick (37th). Drumaness went one ahead again (converted free) but Sean McGonigle levelled the game again (43rd) before putting Carryduff ahead (46th).
Despite missed opportunities from Conor McCullough and Donal McKeever, Carryduff began to assert themselves and points from Joe McFlynn (50th) and Barry O'Neill (52nd) Turkington and McKeever saw shots go wide before Turkington converted his fourth free and a mighty point from substitute Tony McMahon gave Carryduff victory by five points as they ran out winners 0-13 to 1-06.

The Under-14 hurlers had a victory over Newry Shamrocks on a scoreline of 2-03 to 0-05.
The Under-16 'A' Football squad also enjoyed an away victory overcoming Newry Shamrocks 2-11 to 1-07.
The Under-12 A footballers lost to Kilcoo (2-05 to 3-07) whilst the Under-12 B footballers lost to Drumaness 1-11 to 0-17 and Under-12 C footballers beat Dundrum 2-09 to 2-07
