Aughlisnafin club notes
February 16, 2015*The annual charity Over 30's v Under 30's football match was played on Sunday with donations received towards two charities, Angel Eyes NI & Buddy Bear Trust. Thank you to everyone who supported both very worthy causes and to all the participants and organisers of the match.
*Three new mentors of our juvenile teams attended the Child Protection course hosted by St John's GAC last Thursday evening. One mentor also completed the Foundation Award at the same venue on Saturday.
*Senior men and ladies training continues as per the schedules provided unless notified otherwise.
*The U16's & U14's were back out of the pitch on Sunday morning for pre-season training. The turnout was very encouraging and the lads enjoyed the run out. A challenge match has been arranged for next Sunday. Training for Year 9-12 continues on Wednesday at 7.00 pm in the Fin Hall.
*Coaching for the U12's every Thursday from 6.30 - 7.30 pm in the Fin Hall.
*Coaching for the U10's & U8's will commence Wednesday 18th March.
*Gaelic Start Coaching for Age 4+ every Saturday morning at 10.30 am in the Fin Hall.
*A sizeable contingent of our adult and juvenile members took part in the 'Love the Downe' rally along with family & friends and nearly 20,000 others in a show of support for the retention of life saving clinical services. Well done everyone involved.
