HL2B round-up: Kildare top the table

Kildare are top of the Division 2B table tonight having easily accounted for Meath at Trim - 0-24 to 0-14.

Mayo are in second-place on scoring differences, following their 3-14 to 1-12 drubbing of Donegal at Letterkenny.

A brace of quickfire goals from Brian Hunt propelled the visitors into a 3-9 to 0-9 lead and John Coen's men never looked back.

Down also got their 2B campaign off to a winning start, recording a 1-13 to 0-9 victory over neighbours Armagh in Newry.
