Aughlisnafin club notes

There will be a Registration Evening this Thursday at Aughlisnafin Community Centre from 8 to 9 pm. This will be an opportunity for all Juvenile and Adult members to renew their annual membership for the coming season. New members also welcome. Membership fees are Full £40, Family £50, Social £20, Adult Player £60, Minor Player £25, Juvenile Player £10. All player memberships must be paid in full by 31st March 2015 to enable participation in training or matches without exception. All adult memberships paid up before 31st March will also be eligible for ballot for All Ireland Final tickets and have full voting rights at AGM. Membership Forms can be downloaded from our Facebook Group page and completed in advance of attending registrations or emailed upon request from the secretary.


There will be a meeting of the Coaching & Games sub-committee on Thursday 29th January at 8 pm in the Fin Hall meeting room. All those interested in helping out with the underage football in the club are invited to attend with a view to becoming involved. You do not need to have any coaching experience, just enthusiasm and commitment. All those wanting to help out must be vetted by Access NI and also attend a Child Protection course as mandatory. Those who want to coach or mentor teams must complete the GAA Introductory (Foundation) Coaching Award. The Child Protection course will be held at St John's on Thursday 12th February from 7 - 10 pm. The Foundation Award will be held on Saturday from 9.30 to 4.30 pm at the same venue. Contact Gerard Lenaghan before this Thursday if you wish to attend either or both.


The U16's & U14's training continues every Tuesday at 8.30 pm in Bodyrox. £3 per player.


Ladies indoor training every Tuesday and Thursday at 7 pm throughout January.


The annual charity Over 30's v Under 30's football match will be played on Sunday 15th February in Annsborough at 2 pm.


Lotto numbers 3, 9, 14, 19. Brenda McDonald matched three numbers and won £50. Jackpot £1,100.  


Deepest sympathy to our Ladies Team manager Paddy McCrickard, and family circle, on the passing of his mother Mary. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a hanam uasal. Mary Queen of the Gael pray for her.
