Extraordinary club meeting: this is on Sunday 23rd November at 1pm. This is to discuss plans for the gym and bar extension. It is important that all members attend, to find out what will be happening and to have your say.

Ulster Senior Hurling Final: Portaferry 1-16 v Cushendall 10pts. Massive Congrats to the whole squad and management, brilliant achievement. The whole club, the supporters, all who have played before and past members who have passed away. We are the Champions. Thanks to all for the support and good luck messages over past few days. The support that has been displayed the past few months has been nothing short of remarkable. The well wishes and good luck messages to the players means a lot. On Sunday when 'Its a Grand old team' was being sung from the stand, it was amazing. It lifted everyone and drove the boys over the line. With your support, Portaferry can continue to grow as a club in Ireland. Congratulations again to all involved, history has been made. Now we are going to All Ireland semi final on Sat 7th Feb versus the Munster Champions.

Ulster Final DVDs: are now available for sale from Paud Mason and in the clubhouse. All proceeds go to the training fund for All Ireland Semi Final. DVDs are £10.00. This would be a great keepsake after such a historical and momentous occasion.

Best wishes: to Vincent Mason, one of the clubs oldest and most valued members. Vincent recently went into hospital, keep him in your prayers and thoughts. Get well soon.

Scor na nOg: Hard luck to our Ballad group - Emer McGrattan, Brianna Mullan, Leah Coulter, Eirin Sims in tonight's East Down Final, they performed brilliantly but were pipped by some tough opposition. A big thank you from all at Portaferry GAC for all their efforts, well done.
