#GameForAnto tickets on sale at Kingspan Stadium

November 15, 2014

At the launch were Armagh's Aaron Findon and Monaghan's Rory Beggan with Anto Finnegan and Dublin manager Jim Gavin

With just hours to go to throw-in, #GameForAnto tickets can now be purchased at Kingspan Stadium, Belfast.

All roads lead to the home of Ulster rugby today as a Joe Kernan-managed Ulster All Stars select will take on Jim Gavin's Dublin in a charity gaelic football match (6pm) in aid of www.deterMND.com.

Former Antrim captain Anto Finnegan, who was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease in 2012, is hoping for a big turn-out.

"I've been involved in charity events with the GAA before, even at club level, and know how supportive they are, so I wasn't really surprised when we called on the big guns to come out, that they did," he said to The Examiner.

"I was keen the event would be in Belfast, because that's where I've grown up and played most of my sport.

"Ulster Rugby said 'yes' right away and they have given us fantastic support, making their facilities available to us on an ongoing basis.

"There is a bit of nervousness as the match draws closer, but hopefully we can repay them with a full stadium."

Tickets £10 are also available from ticketmaster.co.uk or group bookings at www.deterMND.com
