St Johns club notes
November 10, 2014Our AGM will be held at 7.15pm on Thursday 13 November. A copy of the Agenda, Motions and Recommendations is available to download from the club website at www.stjohnsgaa.com.
As part of our on-going partnership, Action Cancer will be delivering a one-off "Health Promotion Lunchbox" session at the club at 7.00pm on Wednesday 12 November. This session will give parents an opportunity to discover new, healthy ideas for their children's lunch boxes.
The session will include a talk about healthy eating for children followed by a visual display of healthy lunchbox ideas. Parents will also be given the opportunity to taste some healthy lunches during this session and will be given lots of lunch box ideas, recipes and leaflets to try at home. Please note change of time: this will start at 7.00pm rather than 7.30 as previously advertised.
The Action Cancer Big Bus is back at the clubrooms on Saturday 15 November.
Juvenile presentation night will be held in the clubrooms on Friday 21 November with the Senior presentation night being held the following night on Saturday 22 November.
The latest batch of squad tops are available for collection from the clubrooms on Wednesday evening from 7.00pm. All tops must be paid for when they are collected. The club shop is closed for the season but if you wish to order any club gear contact Pep Keenan on 07779 613 468.
St Johns are holding Jive classes in the clubrooms on a Tuesday night starting on 18 November (not 11th as previously noted) from 8.00pm - 9.00pm for four weeks. The cost will be of £24 for the four weeks - total to be paid on first night. If interested in attending please phone Una (07708443195) or Roisin (07821400688). Places are filling up quickly so if you are interested book your space ASAP.
Lotto numbers were 7, 8, 12 and 20. Mary Connolly was a £10 winner. The jackpot next week is now £4,300.
