A big thanks to all of the volunteers that placed the new signage on the road down to the pitches. In terms of games there was only the one game this week.
The U12.5 boys played the third of their round robin games in the U12.5 East Down Championship on Sunday at home against Saul. Playing against a stiff wind in the first half, the boys edged into a 1-7 to 1-3 lead at the break. Kilcoo pulled away in the second half with some good passages of play to run out winners on a score line of 4-12 to 1-4. The last of the round robin games is against Bredagh next Sunday in Bredagh with a place in the final against Carryduff up for grabs.
The numbers in last week's Tote Draw were 7, 17, 21 and 27. There was no jackpot winner. This week's jackpot £2,900. £10 winners Kevin Gribben, Sandra Kane, Peggy O'Hanlon, Martin McClelland, Shauna Morgan, Elizabeth Grant.
On Saturday Kilcoo GAC will visit the Guinness Brewery and the National Museum, as part of our ongoing engagement with the Social Initiative. Last year's trip to Croke Park and Glassnevin Cemetery proved a massive success and this one should prove equally popular. The bus for this shall leave the shop in Kilcoo at 8.00am sharp. If anyone needs more details they should contact Roger.
