Jim McCorry says combining his roles as Down and Kilcoo manager is a nice problem to have.
The Armagh native is busy preparing Kilcoo - who he led to a three-in-a-row of Down SFC titles last week - for an Ulster club SFC preliminary round clash with Monaghan kingpins Clontibret next Sunday and is also in the process of arranging trials and challenge matches for his new Down charges.
"I'm delighted that I have the problem of trying to balance all the things I have to do at the moment," McCorry told the Irish News.
"I'd be very disappointed if I wasn't involved in Ulster with Kilcoo. The county has been very good in saying that 'you are representing our county in Ulster and we will be supporting you through that'.
"It is going to be time consuming, it is going to be difficult and it will be 100 per commitment - including the day job (with Newry & Mourne District Council).
