Good luck and well done to all our young players who have received exam results or will be very soon. Regardless of how you do, just remember how much you are valued at home and within our club.
Well done to our Senior Camogs, defeating Bredagh in the Championship Semi Final on a scoreline of 3-4 to 1-8. They now face Clonduff in the final, date and venue to be confirmed. Keep working and training hard and get ready for the final.
Championships: We are getting to the business end of the season for a lot of our teams. Time to knuckle down, train hard, listen to your coaches and give everything you have. We all have one objective, and that is to do our best for OUR Club and to bring silverware to the Club. Represent OUR Club with respect, pride and passion.
First Aid: Unfortunately we were unable to hold the First Aid course due to lack of numbers. This has been put on hold until the start of 2015. It will be mandatory that all Managers, coaches, selectors, etc undertake this course.
Down Club Draw: there are outstanding monies owed for this draw, please get it paid up to Paud Mason ASAP. The Club have their own draw (£50) for all procurers of the County Draw. The next draw won't happen until all payments are up to date.
Back to School Sleepover: this will take place on Friday 22nd August at 8pm. This will be for both Hurlers and Camogs, U10s to U16s. DVDs, games and fun will be had on this night. Speak to your managers about this.
Irish Language Classes: the Club are considering holding these classes this year again. Possibly around October time, anyone interested please speak to a Committee member.
Annual Club Mass: for present members and deceased members will take place later in the year. Date and time TBC, details to follow.
