The Men’s Shed braved the snow for a visit to Lislea Men’s Shed on Tuesday.
The underage Camogie started back on Sunday with a bumper turn out and lots of new girls. Everyone is reminded to bring both indoor and outdoor footwear and to wrap up warm as we will be on the pitch or Ball Wall as much as possible. Anyone who missed last week is more than welcome to join in this week.
We are currently looking for a Head Coach for our U14 camogie team. We are looking for someone who is organised, dedicated and passionate about developing our young people. Also arising from a report accepted at our AGM and in response to requests during recent coaching at the primary schools, boys are invited to come along on Sunday morning at 11am in an effort to gauge genuine interest in re-establishing hurling in An Ríocht. We are aiming at boys under eight years but any primary age boys may attend and any former hurlers interested in helping are asked to get in touch before Sunday or come along then also.
There is a music session on Friday 13th March from 6.30pm with stew and refreshments provided. Musicians of all ages and abilities are welcome as is everyone to drop in for a while with a small donation made to Leukaemia and Lymphoma NI.
