Down boss Paddy Tally says his side face “a massively tough game” when they travel to take on Cork in Round 3 of the Allianz Football League this Sunday.

The Rebels lead Division 3 with maximum points after two rounds and will look to inflict Tally’s charges, whom defeated Derry last time out, with their first defeat of the campaign when they come to Pairc Ui Chaoimh.

"This will be a massively tough game against Cork and we are certainly under no illusions about the task we face," Tally told the Belfast Telegraph.

"People keep talking about promotion but you can only take things week by week. Division 3 is going to be a dog-fight because there is so little to choose between all the sides.

"If you look at Division 3 and indeed the other divisions to date, you will see that matches are being decided by very fine margins for the most part and, indeed, draws have become commonplace."
