Monday 18th 11am Men’s Shed; 7pm Ladies of Mourne Spanish Class; 7pm Drop-in aged 11+ years; 

7pm u12/u14 Indoor Camogie & u16 Camogie (outdoor) followed by an optional hour of lifestyle projects; Lotto (Daiva & Jane); 7.45pm Executive pre-Planning meeting; 8pm Girls Projects; 9.15pm Camphill Co-Workers.

Tuesday 19th 10.30am to 3pm, Get Set for aged 16 to 25 for those not in education, employment or training leading to an OCN Level 1 in Youth Work, an OCN Level 1 in Health and Fitness, Personal training sessions, Mental Health workshop; 11am Ladies of Mourne Chair-Yoga; 6pm Irish Dancing; 7pm ‘No Need for Speed’ project; 7pm Drop-in aged 7 to 10 years; 7.15pm u12 Gaelic Keep-Fit; 8pm Indoor Football.

Wednesday 20th Universal Children’s Day. 11am Men’s Shed; 6pm Indoor Football; 7pm Boxing for ALL ages; 7pm Drop-in aged 11+ years; 8pm Indoor Football.

Thursday 21st World Hello Day. 6.30pm Drop-in for first and second years; 7.30pm to 8.30pm open invitation to all former Camogie players, current Camogie players and parents of juvenile Camogie players to an informal get together to look back on 2019 and discuss the way forward for An Riocht Camogie in 2020 over a cup of coffee. Please show your support for our Camogie coaches and administrators who give so much of their time over the year by giving one hour tonight; 8.15pm Indoor Football. 

Friday 22nd 10am Primary Schools Indoor Hurling; 11am Men’s Shed; 5pm trip to Cocos (places must be booked in advance); No Youth Club tonight; 7.30pm Club Mass for deceased / bereaved members and friends.

Saturday 23rd No u6 Gaelic today; 10am to 1pm An Ríocht will hold a Planning Event @ Dunavil including breakfast. All Executive committee members are expected to attend, and all sub-committee members are also encouraged to attend, as are all other persons who feel they have something to offer to An Ríocht going forward. The get-together will use the Club Development Plan as a starting point to assess the current position. It will also address immediate needs such as gaps on the Executive and on sub-committees, governance, coaching and games, fund-raising, and any other business arising from the discussions.

We will have facilitators in place to ensure the morning is productive and your attendance is worthwhile with a report in early January. It’s an opportunity to get the club year off to a positive start, so please let’s not waste it; 1pm Birthday Party

‘Nobody Puts Bernie in a Corner’ was well received at Dunavil on Friday past, again thanks to those who supported the club on the night and thanks to the volunteers who helped before, during and after.

 

Paula and Clara attended the Down Camogie Convention on Sunday, patricia was returned as County Secretary.

 

Jennifer and Dianna attended ‘ASIST’ training at Mourne Matters and Jennifer and Beth attended the ‘Managing Your Finances’ workshop also.

 

There are still tables available for the Christmas Fair on Sunday 1st December.

 

Nominations for the camogie committee roles are now open. We are looking to fill the following positions: Chair, Vice Chair, Secretary, Registrar, Coaching Officer, Children’s Officer and PRO. Please email [email protected] with any nominations. Nominations close Wednesday at 9pm with AGM and coffee evening taking place on Thursday at 7.30pm - everyone welcome!

 

Dodgeball comes to KYC on Thursday 28th November, Santa & his reindeers turn on our Christmas lights on Friday 29th November and the Christmas Roller Disco is booked for Tuesday 17th December.

 

The Kingdom Men’s Shed Christmas Dinner is on Thursday 12th December.

 

If anyone is interested in coaching any An Ríocht Football team for the 2020 season, application forms are now available at the club or on-line. Please complete and return before Sunday 1st December. Any queries speak to Football Coaching Officer Thomas Sloan.
