Wednesday 16th 11am Men’s Shed; 7pm to 8pm Aged 7 to 10 Boys & Girls Boxing with Legends Fitness, no drop-in tonight; 7pm Ladies of Mourne Movie Night; 7.30pm Training Night for Lotto.

Thursday 17th Mens Shed at Tollymore Climbing Wall; 6.30pm to 8.30pm Drop-in; 7.30pm Safe Driving Project participants meeting; 8.30pm KYC Staff & Volunteers meeting; if you would like to help in any way please come along.

Friday 18th11am Men’s Shed; 5.30pm u10 Gaelic; The Fureys – Sweet Sixteen, Green Fields of France, Red Rose Café – tickets £25 on sale now, doors open 7.30pm; No Youth Club tonight.

Saturday 19th 8am tidy-up after the night before, feel free to give a hand.

Sunday 20th 10am Breakfast; 2pm Birthday Party; 8pm Bingo.

Monday 21st11am Men’s Shed; 7.30pm Ladies Spanish Class; 7pm to 8pm Aged 7 to10 Boys & Girls Boxing with Legends Fitness. Also, 7pm to 9pm, Aged 11+ Chill Out upstairs with your friends, gaming area, cinema, pool, table tennis etc; 9pm Lotto.

An Ríocht took part in the u12 Camogie Blitz in Dromara, enjoying a great morning’s camogie and returning home with a trophy. That’s all camogie finished for this season, enjoy a short break and we will be back with an exciting winter program before Christmas.

 

At the u13 Gaelic Longstone v An Ríocht, played in horrendous conditions we won 4-6 to 3-3.

 

The u10 footballers had two teams at the Ballymartin floodlit tournament on Saturday.

 

The u12 footballers completed a beach clean on Saturday, well done everyone.

 

An Ríocht Football Annual General Meeting took place on Thursday past and the following were elected Chair Declan Campbell, Vice Chair Turlough Eastwood, Secretary Gavin Finnegan, Coaching Officer Thomas Sloan, Schools Liaison Officer Barney McCartan, Player Representatives Paul Allen and James Colgan.

 

The u16 Footballers end of season prize giving took place on Wednesday past at Formula Karting. Presentations were made to Most Improved (joint) Cameron Harper and Jerry Lee McVeigh; Runner-up Player Lorcan Donnan; Player Michael Greenan. Curtis Flanagan presented Down u20 Conor Clarke with a jersey for making the presentations. The Grand Prix winners were 1st Gavin Finnegan; 2nd Jerry Lee McVeigh; 3rd Damien Cunningham

 

Robert represented the Men’s Shed at the World Mental Health events at the Ulster American Folk Park on Thursday past.

 

Kelly’s famous Roller Disco will visit Kingdom Youth Club on Monday 28th October from 7pm to 8pm, skates provided.

 

Scor Na nOg 8th, 9th & 10th November for u16s and An Ríocht are looking participants for dancing, solo singing, instrumental music, ballad group, quiz or recitation; if interested please contact the club asap.
