Tuesday 20th 10.30am KYC Summer Scheme, Kite Making with Go Fly Your Kite; 2.30pm Start360 programme for aged 11 to 13; 7.15pm u18 Gaelic An Ríocht v Rostrevor; 7.15pm u14 Gaelic An Ríocht v Warrenpoint; 8.30pm Kingdom 2 Croker meeting; as we build momentum towards this great day for our club, everyone who can help, should help, everyone who can attend tonight, should attend tonight.

Wednesday 21st 10.30am KYC Summer Scheme, Community Tribal Drummers; 11am Men’s Shed; 7pm IMPACT Youth Pharmacy Project – one punch / anti-social behaviour workshop, this is aimed at teens but is open to everyone; 7.15pm u14 Camogie Championship An Ríocht v Aghaderg; Senior Gaelic.

Thursday 22nd 10.30am KYC Summer Scheme, Chalk & Paint Day including Colour Run; 8pm Pairc Esler Senior Football Championship An Riocht v Ballyholland.

Friday 23rd 10.30am KYC Summer Scheme, End of Summer Party; 11am Men’s Shed; 5.30pm u10 Gaelic; 7pm Football committee meeting to discuss changes to underage structures; 7.15pm u16 Gaelic An Ríocht v Saval.

At the u18 Gaelic An Ríocht v Longstone, An Ríocht won by 0-13 to 1-9. Longstone goaled early on and led by three at the break. An Ríocht kicked five in a row at the start of the second half to go in front for the first time, Longstone regained the lead before An Ríocht finished strongly for the victory. Team: Curtis Flanagan, Eoin Killen 0-1, John Joe Eakins, Cameron Harper, Michael Greenan, Jack Rodgers 0-1, Ryan Mackey 0-1, Christopher Flanagan, Reece Flanagan, Caomhan Campbell 0-3 (1f), Eoin Sloan 0-6 (1f, 1x45), William Harper, Ben Mathews. Sub Jerry Lee McVeigh 0-1.

In the u14 Camogie An Ríocht v Ballyholland, we narrowly lost an entertaining game by 6-2 to 8-1. Team: Zoe Gannon, Lauren Marsh, Alicia Clare, Sarah Higgins, Lucia Higgins, Sarah Leigh Sloan, Summer Clare, Orla McBurney, Caitlin Harper, Annie McAleenan, Cerys Finnegan, Anna Quinn, Annalise White, Aoife Rooney, Kelcie Curran.

In the last home game of the Senior Camogie League, An Ríocht lost to Ballygalget by 2-13 to 3-20 after a good end to end contest. Team: Andrea O’Neill, Caoimhe McAlinden, Aine O’Reilly, Louise Rodgers, Nicole Cunningham, Cerys Clarke, Marie Trainor, Orla McAlinden 0-1, Rachel Cunningham, Colleen Fearon 1-0, Carrie Killen 0-9 (4f), Lauren Clarke 0-1, Clare Fearon 1-0, Joanna Sloan, Aoife McDowell 0-2. Subs Hailey McDowell, Clara Killen.

At the u16 Gaelic An Ríocht v Eire Og, we won well. Team: Curtis Flanagan, Eoin Killen, Mark McVeigh, Shane Quinn, Michael Greenan, Ryan Cunningham, Cameron Harper, Lorcan Donnan, Mark Cunningham, Ryan Quinn, Reece Flanagan, Ben Matthews, Mathew McCartan, James Donnelly.

At the Senior Football An Ríocht v Longstone, we won by five 1-13 to 1-8. After a close first half we trailed by two points and a Longstone goal had us four behind before a storming final fifteen minutes saw us run out comfortable winners. An Ríocht took part in the u8 Gaelic Tournament in Saval on Saturday

An Ríocht took part in the u10 Gaelic Tournament in Longstone on Sunday.

The u12 Gaelic An Ríocht v Glenn did not take place.

Highlight of last week at the Summer Scheme was the visit from Aunt Sandra’s Chocolate Factory while in a jam-packed final week, we have kite making, community drummers and a colour run all taking place. Also, there is a special project on Tuesday for all aged 11 to 13 and a ‘one punch’ workshop. Contact the club for further details.
