*Our seniors played Sean Souths Clady from Armagh in their first challenge game on Sunday afternoon. Thanks to our visitors for the game and we wish them good luck for the season ahead. Thanks to everyone who helped to provide and serve the refreshments afterwards, they were greatly appreciated by all. The seniors will host St Malachys Belfast this Sunday in another challenge game with a 2 pm throw in.
*Baile an Locha Minors were unlucky not to retain their East Down Feis An Dúin 7s title as they lost to a last kick score of the final to Kilcoo. Both teams were without key personnel on the day but it was the magpies who prevailed 0-6 to 0-5. The Loch enjoyed closely contested wins over Bryansford and Carryduff Gaels in the group stages before seeing of the challenge of Bredagh who were leg weary after their final group game with Carryduff Ogs....went to extra time. Kilcoo defeating Castlewellan to set up the final pairing. It was a great days football and good preparation for the All County 13 aside league campaign which gets underway this Sunday. Castlewellan are the visitors to Pairc Naomh Eoin for a 12.30 pm throw in.

*Well done to our U16 player Marc Quinn who has been selected for the Down U15 ETS football squad for 2019. Marc featured in the Minor Feis 7s on Sunday and was probably the youngest there scoring a brilliant goal against Carryduff.
*Lotto for Friday 1st March numbers were 8, 15, 20, 26. No jackpot winner. Gerard Steele and Maria Campbell both matched three numbers and both won £10. New Jackpot £4,375.
*Congratulations to Clonduff camogs on winning a historical All Ireland title on Sunday. Absolutely fantastic to see.
