At the u14 Camogie Championship Drumaness v An Riocht, our girls progressed to a home quarter final meeting with local rivals Atticall.
At the u18 Camogie Championship Semi Final An Riocht v Bredagh, we had a good win and now meet Castlewellan in the Final.
In the Division One Camogie Ballycran v An Riocht, our league season finished on a disappointing note with defeat in the Ards.
In the u16 Gaelic An Riocht v Saval, the visitors failed to field.
In the Senior Gaelic An Riocht v Castlewellan a poor second half was our undoing. The defence worked tirelessly before the break but too many chances were passed up in attack which allowed Castlewellan keep in touch and eventually they worked the space to outscore us 1-13 to 1-1 in the final thirty-five minutes.
The u12 Camogie Kilcoo v An Riocht did not take place
The u10 Gaelic tournament in Atticall was abandoned due to the rain.
In the Reserve League semi-final An Riocht v Annaclone at Dunavil, An Riocht won on a 3-13 to 1-9 scoreline. Scorers: Conor Cole 3-8 (2xpen, 5f), Adam White 0-2, Aidan O'Hanlon 0-1, Ryan Spiers 0-1, Richard Doran 0-1. Annaclone enjoyed the better of the early exchanges and Conor Cole's accuracy from frees kept us in touch before Aidan O'Hanlon fisted us in front for the first time in the fifteenth minute, 0-5 to 0-4. A goal from a penalty moved us double scores clear before the visitors netted themselves with the last kick of the half to leave us just one point ahead at the break, 1-8 to 1-7. Annaclone equalised on the restart but we upped our performance and outscored them 2-5 to 0-1 for the remainder of the half. Best for An Riocht were Christopher Mulligan with a superb goal line clearance, Brian Rodgers and Ryan Spiers with their attacking forays from defence; Brian Sloan at centre field and Conor Cole and Michael Harper in attack.
The rain put paid to our participation in the u6, u8 & u10 Camogie Blitzes in Ballela.
In the Summer Scheme a really good time was had at Funtasia Water Park and at the Dance Class while the gardening project was completed with everyone planting and decorating their own individual flower pot.
