*Ballylough Minors completed their all county league programme with another superb win. Cumann Pheadair Naofa were the visitors to Pairc Naomh Eoin last Tuesday evening. The Loch fought back after a sluggish start to lead by the minimum at half time. In the second half the Loch did well to lead by five points with five minutes remaining before CPN got back to within a point but the Loch held firm for the win. Baile an Locha 4-10 CPN 1-18. The result capped a brilliant first season at all county level. The Loch lost their opening two fixtures of the campaign before going on to win nine of the next ten games. They also annexed the East Down & All County Sevens titles. The Loch now await the outcome of other outstanding league fixtures to learn if they have done enough to reach the league final which is to be held on Tuesday 24th July. The championship begins Tuesday 31st July.

*Very well done to our U16's footballer & Baile an Locha minor goalkeeper Morgan Croskery who was the net minder in Down U16s Gerry Reilly competition win over Dublin at Abbotstown on Saturday. Morgan was also involved in the win against Meath previously and will now look forward to the Kildare game on Saturday 28th July hoping to help his team mates make it 3 from 3.

*Our Year 4's attended the East Down Go Games at RGU on Saturday morning and did very well by all accounts. Next blitz will be Saturday 28th July.

*Upcoming fixtures U16's v Castlewellan (a) 7.30pm this Thursday; U12's v St Paul's (h) 11 am this Sunday; U14's v Bright (a) 7.30 pm next Monday; Seniors v St Michaels (h) 7.30 pm next Monday. Note the seniors league fixture against Bright has been postponed to Friday 17th August.

*The Kellogs Cúl Camp is on-going all this week at Pairc Baile Anna. We have a total of 41 kids in attendance 27 at the main camp and 14 in the nursery camp. Another brilliant uptake in only our second year hosting the camp. Our lead coach this year again will be none other than the former Down captain & Longstone star Ambrose Rogers.

*Lotto 4, 7, 22, 27. Aishling Steen matched three numbers and won £10. Jackpot £3,550.

*Down GAA Clubs draw £200 club winner was our Childrens Officer Louise Dornan. Well done Louise !
