Glasdrumman club notes

June 18, 2018

Our u-6s played Longstone on Thursday  evening in what was a great game of football by both teams! Well done to all the boys and girls!
Thank you to Longstone for the game and to all who came to support the teams.

The Eire Óg u-12s got their league campaign of to a great start with a win against St Michaels on Sunday morning. Well done boys and girls!

There is now a break until 29th July but training will continue on a Wednesday evening from 7pm until 8pm in Glasdrumman.

It was a busy week for the Eire Óg u-14s. First up was an away game v Annaclone. The boys were the stronger of the 2 teams and deserved the win. Next was a home tie v Drumgath where once again our boys played the better football and earned the win. Lastly on Saturday the boys faced St Michaels. The Eire Óg  boys were 10 points down at half time and despite a better second half it was St Michaels who won the game by 1 point.

Next up is the Atticall U-14 7 a side tournament on Saturday morning. A text with details will be sent out during the week.

It was great to have the Club represented at the

Celebration of The Life Of ST. Mary's P.S.  on  Wednesday night.  Our Chairman  Gary McGreevy  presented    a Club Jersey club  and many of our former  and current players both young and old got a chance to reminisce in the School, look at the photos and check the old rolls. A great way to remember all that St.Mary's means to us .
