Aoife Ni Chasaide, All Ireland winning captain of Slaughtneill Camogie is the special guest of An Riocht Camogs at the club's Dinner & Awards Night on Saturday 18th November in the Canal Court Hotel Newry. 2017 was a great year for An Riocht Camogie winning the Down Second and Third Divisions and the Minor League; also, the U16 reached the Championship Final, and the Coaching Academy which caters for the younger ages was recognised in the SportNI Coaching Awards. Also in attendance will be Peter McGrath, the current Louth manager guided An Riocht Senior Footballers to the Down Division One title ten years ago in 2007, the only time the Cup has ever rested in the Kingdom of Mourne; and John Morrison, respected GAA Coach who has been helping out with An Riocht since the early days of the club in the eighties will also be present.
