Have to focus on Clubs
Yeah the OP is making good sense there about the clubs. But it's a pity the eunans4ever lad gets involved again. It's a disgrace that eunans do not compete better in ulster given the size of the club and the supposed quality of their players. Maybe you can explain that eunans4ever?

Donegal v Down
it's alright 121andun he's some kid using an alias to discredit our club all the local threaders have copped him on now nobody in their right mind would be so cocky as to say what he says it only ruins good topics.

Can see a Tipperary win in the football.
if we cant beat the likes of this then its going to be a long summer..only positive tho is club scene will benefit and people will get to watch the mighty eunans dominate again......

Can see a Tipperary win in the football.
A Tipp win would we great but Donegal have a few forwards & tough backs on their match to match any county.Donegal might scrape a 3-5 point win but hopeful Tipp can win which would have us in a right good posistion to stay up.

eunans4ever it is you that is pitiful, get a life and add something constructive or go away and play with your toys, you arent funny anymore, just pathetic . . . . . .

sam1992 , 19/03/2010 at 15:00

Have to focus on Clubs
Its the clubs themselves that need to buck up their ideas..For too long know there are too many pretenders not chalengers to eunans dominance of club scene the last 12years and the gap is getting even bigger going on the pityful efforts of the last 3 beaten county finalists.....Put in the effort this year lads.......

eunans4ever , 19/03/2010 at 13:19

Have to focus on Clubs
...and there is no point in crying about eunans being dominant , having players from outside the town etc - clubs need to focus on football. If they want to surpass eunans then work hard on developing players, get serious about training, skills and strength and develop winners not participants....

the only difference between Donegal and other successful counties is that the other counties want it more... not just on the pitch or when county training starts but 24x7x365 and they start with the club

Donegal v Down
Sorry lads i prob jump the gun there ok.i take back what i said about st eunans and shouldn be slating off teams like that.your man is a wind up merchant

Have to focus on Clubs
spot on LKgael, the current atmosphere and almost disregard for club football in the county from our county board is to blame for the plight of our county team at the minute, even div 1 was shaping up well last year until being robbed of football all through the summer months

Tickets for Meath game
I am coming over next weekend and will be attending the Meath match. Would be interested in sitting in the stand. Are stand tickets difficult to get hold of? And how much are they going for?

Can see a Tipperary win in the football.
Can we turn this around tomorrow night and get back on track for promotion or in the event of losing will there be calls for massive change before the championship .Going through the threads there is a mixture of opinion varying from inexpierenced management poor quality of overall players wrong game plans and players being played out of position there has been very little acknowledgement of what the supporters deserve who faithfully turn up in high expectation that hings are going to get better would it be fair to view this match tomorrow night as make or break time.

Have to focus on Clubs
The County board have to focus on clubs - it's no coincidence that the revent upturn in antrim's progress mirrors St Galls fantastic achievment in winnin the club all-ireland. Look at the history of successful counties - it's always backboned by successful clubs

Antrim this yr - St Galls
Galway 98/2000- Corifin
Tyrone - Errigal Ciaran
Armagh - Cross
Mayo - take your pick of 3 - Crossamalina, etc
Cork - Nemo Rangers
Derry 93 -
donegal 92 - Glen,Kilcar, Killybegs

The board need to get competitive club football and treat the fistures with respect - not at the expense of the county team - and the clubs need better coaches

Donegal v Down
There aent no way I'm defending him he's a wind up and you have fell into his trap but there aent no way I would let anyone come on here and say my clubs bad or any Donegal club for that matter so maybe you should keep thm kind of opinions to yourself even if you are annoyed it doesn't justify your reaction.
