Termon U8s were in MacCumhaill Park Ballybofey on Sunday morning in big numbers, and we had a season high turnout of 40 soldiers in maroon and white, with 4 sides playing against MacCumhaills for over an hour of great football on the Main County Pitch. The teams lined out as follows: Team 1: Kayla McFadden, Cormac Sweeney, Conn McGettigan, Jack McDermott, Jack McFadden, Oisin Gallagher, Grace Strain, Rory Gallagher, Mason Kelly.Team 2: Lucas Grant, Daire McCarron, Shae McGettigan, Rory McGettigan, Eoin McKinney, Kate McCafferty, Bridin Friel, Kara McLaughlin, Aine Kelly & Aoife Gallagher.Team 3: Jaime Toland, Caolan McTaggart, Charlie Gallagher, Donagh Doherty, Conor McGinley, Liam Bonner, Lee McGettigan, Gavin Gallagher, Dultach Fegan & Joey Gorman.Team 4: Faolain McGrenra, Luca Kelly, Fionn Gallagher, Micheál O'Baoill, Senan Kelly, Maeve Strain, Grainne Gallagher, Orla Cunningham, Sadie McGettigan & Treasa McGettigan.

Our U10 boys' recent run of good form continued on Saturday at the impressive Gary Doyle memorial tournament run by St Eunans. Our B team ended up in the Shield competition after suffering their only loss of the day, the toss of a coin. They took this in their stride and remained unbeaten and lifted the Shield after a one point victory over Glenswilly, two trophies in two weeks, well done boys and today's captain Jake Burrows who lifted the Cup on behalf of his team.

Our A team were again excellent and were undefeated even at the end of normal time in the final. Sadly for a third tournament in a row it was heartache for the Termon boys as Four Masters kicked two impressive points in extra time to lift the cup. Today's captain Ruairi Conaghan collected the runners up trophy on behalf of his team mates. Thanks again to Jim and Liam for their hard work and thanks to all the parents who gave up their Saturday to support their sons in the Termon jerseys. It's back to coaching this week for the boys with the U10 girls due to host a blitz, Jim and Liam will be in touch in the coming days.

With only 18 U16 boys available for last Friday's NRB Championship game Vs red hot favoutites for the regional and County honours St Eunans many might have expected a heavy defeat. Those who were there witnessed one of the great Termon performances in recent years and had either of our late goal attempts raised a green flag it would have been one of the great underage victories in recent history. The Termon traits of determination, aggression, desire were more than a match for their illustrious opponents and nothing epitomised this more than Ryan Mc Fadden penalty save in the second half. A hugely encouraging performance that PJ, Trevor, James and Paddy will take massive encouragement from. This week it's the final group game with a home tie vs Convoy.

All roads lead to O'Donnell Park this Saturday when our U14 and Minor boys contest their respective Donegal Div 2 County Championship finals. First up at 12 noon our U14 boys face off with Glenfin for a third time in a final this year. At 2pm then our Minor boys take on neighbours Milford in a much anticipated clash. Come along and support the boys if you can and good luck to all our boys in maroon and white on Saturday
