St Eunan's Letterkenny club notes

The Seniors and Reserves both warmed up for their Championship matches with good wins over Gaoth Dobhair last weekend. They take on Dungloe this Sunday in their second round of group matches with the Reserves throwing-in at 1:30pm followed by the Seniors at 3pm. Come out and support the boys. The Senior Hurlers travel to Setanta for their next round-robin Senior Championship match this Wednesday evening, throw-in is at 7pm.

The Senior Ladies play Glenfin at home this Sunday morning. The Intermediate Championship Final v St. Naul's is provisionally scheduled for Sunday, September 10th.

The Junior men's game was postponed last week and they travel to Glenfin this Sunday at 6pm for a League game.

The Minor Boys Footballers had two teams in action on Friday night. The Div. 1 team travelled to Malin and had a good win, 4-10 to 0-06. The Dev. team travelled to N. Brid / Pettigo and also had a good win, 6-11 to 1-12. The Div. 1 team have two games this week, they are at home in both with Ardara visiting on Tuesday evening and Four Masters the visitors on Friday. The Dev. team travel to N. Ultan on Thursday evening for a 7:30pm throw-in.

The U16 Girls footballers have their next group game this Thursday (17th) at home to Moville, throw-in is at 6:45pm.

The U16 Camógs take on Burt in the Co. Final and it is likely to go ahead this coming Monday night (21st) with time and venue tbc, keep an eye on social media for updates.

The U16 hurlers travel to Ballyshannon on Thursday for a meeting with Aodh Ruadh, they had a good win over Buncrana last week and the U12's are also on the road as they head for Killygordon and a game with Setanta, the lads were narrowly beaten by Gaoth Dobhair last week.

The U14 Div. 1 footballers host Milford this Wednesday at 7pm in their Northern Championship semi-final 2nd leg. This game didn't take place last week after the referee failed to turn up. The lads need a win to force a play-off after they lost the first leg.

U13 Northern Board football will begin in the next two weeks with Sunday, August 27th at 6:30pm the likely day for the first round of fixtures.

A Scór concert will be held in the clubhouse on Friday the 25th August starting at 8pm. A great evening of entertainment is assured with county, Ulster and All Ireland winning acts from all over Donegal performing. Also included on the night will be a number of other leading Scór acts from St. Eunan's GAA club and other clubs in the county. If you are interested in a night of song, traditional music, comedy, storytelling/recitation, dancing and good craic, come along on the night. Everyone welcome. Beidh céad míle fáilte róimh.

The Friday Evening Hurling & Camogie Academy returns this Friday (18th) at 6:30pm and the Century Cinemas Sunday Morning Academy also returns this week (20th) at 11am. New players always welcome to both academies.

Well done to Eugene Duffy and his team for another brilliant Family Health & Fun Day in the Park last Saturday. There was a great attendance on the day and the weather was good thankfully.
