Donegal intermediate champions facing two games in 24 hours

The club hosted the event on their second pitch at Pairc Colmcille

The winners of tomorrow's Donegal IFC final replay won't have much time to celebrate after the Ulster Council turned down a request to have Sunday's provincial club IFC clash with Down champions Bredagh postponed.

The replay between Milford and Burt will take place in O'Donnell Park, Letterkenny tomorrow, 24 hours before the winners are due to play in the Ulster club IFC preliminary round at the same venue.

Donegal county board had requested that the game be put back until next Sunday, but the provincial body were not in a position to change the date as Bredagh have players involved in an Ulster hurling fixture on the same day.

Milford or Burt will take hope from Cloughaneely's achievement in beating Castledawson of Derry the day after they won the Donegal IFC title two years ago.
