Ciaran Gillespie will deputise for his fellow Gaoth Dobhair clubmate Neil McGee when Donegal meet Monaghan in the Ulster SFC semi-final at Breffni Park on Saturday evening.

U21 player Gillespie has been handed the full-back jersey in place of the suspended McGee who is set to miss his first championship game for his county since 2006.

Manager Rory Gallagher has made two changes with Former 'Footballer of the Year' Karl Lacey coming in at left half-back as an indirect replacement for Hugh McFadden.

The Tir Chonaill men produced a strong second-half performance against Fermanagh in the quarter-final (2-12 to 0-11) to set a up repeat of last year's decider with the Farney County.

Donegal (SFC v Monaghan): Mark Anthony McGinley; Paddy McGrath, Ciaran Gillespie, Eamon McGee; Ryan McHugh, Frank McGlynn, Karl Lacey; Rory Kavanagh; Odhran MacNiallais; Anthony Thompson, Martin McElhinney, Eoin McHugh; Patrick McBrearty, Michael Murphy, Martin O'Reilly.
