Donegal duo injured on club duty

There are concerns about the fitness of Donegal duo Michael Murphy and Paddy McGrath after they picked up knocks during yesterday's Group A SFC clash between Glenswilly and Ardara.

Ardara's McGrath was forced to retire at half-time, while Glenswilly's Murphy was was visibly shaken after a heavy challenge. Ardara prevailed on a 0-8 to 0-6 scoreline with Brendan McNelis and Gareth Concarr their scorers-in-chief. Neil Gallagher was a notable absentee from the Glenswilly team sheet.

In Group B, St. Michael's defeated Killybegs 2-13 to 0-8, while a late Ryan McHugh free earned Kilcar a 1-10 to 0-13 draw with St. Eunan's. 

Brendan McLaughlin scored a brace of goals as Malin overcame Sean MacCumhaills 2-9 to 1-9. Also in Group C, first half majors from Daniel Breslin and Paddy McCafferty laid the foundations for Naomh Muire's 3-7 to 0-11 win over Glenfin.

In Group D, league leaders Goath Dobhair saw off Four Masters by 2-12 to 1-9 at Magheragallon thanks to second half goals from Gavin McBride and Ciaran Gillespie.
