Donegal manager Rory Gallagher has confirmed that both Darach O'Connor and Michael Boyle will be fit for the start of the Ulster SFC.

Both players are due to resume training next month, giving them time to push for places ahead of the provincial clash against the winners of Fermanagh and Antrim on June 12th.

Gallagher revealed to the Donegal Democrat that the players are progressing nicely in their rehab.

"The boys' rehab is going really well and I expect to have them both back training with us by the middle of next month," said Gallagher.

"The 'Jigger' (O'Connor) is about four weeks away from a return, and in the case of Michael, he is probably looking at five weeks, but no longer than that.

"They should both be back by the middle of next month which will give them plenty of time for the start of the championship."
