Ryan McHugh says Donegal like to think they're still as good as they were in 2012 and 2014.
The Tir Chonail men have come in for much criticism after a disappointing end to their league campaign, losing five games in a row, but McHugh expects them to step up to the plate during the summer:
"We personally don't think it has gone away," the Kilcar clubman states in The Irish News. "We like to think we're still as good a team as we were in 2012 and 2014. We just have to try to get the confidence back in the team, get up to that level again and see what we can do.
"We know where we're at personally and we know what we have to do and where we have to be at. Time's on our side - we're not out for eight or nine weeks in the championship.
"We're disappointed with the way the league ended after such a good start. It was disapponting to go down in a league semi-final so easily to Dublin, but we have to take it on the chin and move on."
