St. Eunan's will defend the Dr Maguire Cup against Naomh Conaill on October 18 in what is a repeat of the 2012 Donegal SFC final.
The Glenties men joined the holders in the decider yesterday thanks to an emphatic 4-10 to 0-11 victory over Kilcar in Ballybofey. Dermot 'Brick' Molloy and Eoghan McGettigan raised green flags late in the first half to help Naomh Conaill to a 2-5 to 0-4 interval lead. Further majors from Leon Thompson and Leo McLoone in the third quarter wrapped up the win for Glenties.
In the first semi-final on Saturday night, Rory Carr top-scored with 0-6 (0-5 frees) as St. Eunan's accounted for St. Michael's on a 2-15 to 0-11 scoreline.
The Creeslough/Dunfanaghy men started the second half strongly to open up a 0-10 to 0-8 lead, but their Letterkenny opponents hit back with goals from Lee McMonagle and Conor Parke to leave themselves just 60 minutes away from a fourth county title in six seasons.
