Midfielder Seamus O'Shea is an injury concern for Mayo ahead of their All-Ireland quarter-final on August 8th.
The influential Breaffy powerhouse sustained a groin injury during Sunday's facile Connacht final victory over Sligo and was forced to leave the Dr Hyde Park fray after just 24 minutes.
The 28-year-old is hopeful, however, that he will be good to go against either Donegal or Galway at Croke Park in 18 days' time:
"It was in a tackle and whatever way I twisted or turned, I gave it a bit of a pull but hopefully it will be all right," he told The Irish Independent.
"I gave my groin a bit of a pull. I am not too sure how bad it is. We will see what the medical team says and hopefully it won't take too long to recover."
