Donegal delegates will learn at Sunday's convention that the stand in MacCumhaill Park is in urgent need of some repair work.

Delegates will be informed that the stand which is believed to need necessary repair work in the near future, may be closed for a period in order to facilitate this.

Outgoing Development Officer Michael McMenamin will tell delegates that 'rust/corrosion is prevalent throughout the stand structure with some areas worse than others.'

He adds: "The problem needs to be addressed in the very near future otherwise could affect the safety of the stand in future years.

"Laurence McMullin was instructed to research and bring forward possible treatments. This is likely to be a costly project and is likely to put the stand out of use for a number of months."
