Donegal minor manager Declan Bonner admits that they have a tough challenge ahead of them next year.

Bonner will only be working with six of this year's squad for the 2015 campaign and he revealed to the Donegal Democrat that they had already started hosting trials.

Last Saturday night, Bonner attended the Donegal minor presentation function and met up with his squad for the first time since their All-Ireland MFC defeat to Kerry in September.

Speaking of next year he said: "It will be a big challenge and we have started already in the past few weeks as we held a few trials but it is a challenge that we are all looking forward to.

"I just know that there are some really good minor footballers out there and hopefully these guys can go on and emulate what the team of 2014 achieved."
