Mayo's Cora Staunton has been hailed for many years as the best Ladies Gaelic Footballer in the land and rightly so, but there's a girl in North Donegal who is sure to challenge Cora's crown.

Geraldine McLaughlin scored 4-4 in the Ulster Final and another 3-8 in the Tesco Homegrown All Ireland Senior Final to effectively win the title for little Termon. Geraldine's team came from four points down at half-time to defeat Cork's Mourneabbey at Tuam Stadium.

'I'm on record as saying she's the best player in Ireland', says manager Francie Friel. 'She's a savage player and we're lucky to have her'.
