Rory Gallagher has been chosen to succeed Jim McGuinness.
He was ratified tonight by Donegal GAA Club delegates.
Gallagher who was a selector for the 2012 All Ireland winning team under McGuinness has been given a 3 year term with the option for a fourth year available.
