Donegal SFC: Glenswilly and St Michael's advance

October 20, 2014

Michael Murphy celebrates after Glenswilly's county final win.

Reigning champions Glenswilly experienced little difficulty in disposing of Termon's challenge in the Donegal SFC quarter-final at Letterkenny yesterday.

Darren McGinley sent Glenswilly on the road to a 3-9 to 0-4 victory with two early goals.

Leon Kelly struck for their third goal on the stroke of full-time and Michael Murphy & Co will now take on the winner of Wednesday night's replay between Naomh Conaill of Glenties and Ardara.

St Michael's, meanwhile, are also through to the last four as they got the better of Dungloe by 1-13 to 0-10  last night.

Colm McFadden scored five points for the winners while his Donegal team-mate Christy Toye was also prominent.

Brian McLaughlin netted the game's only goal and St Michael's, searching for a first Donegal SFC title, will face St Eunan's in the semi-final next Saturday night in Ballybofey.
