All-Ireland champions Kerry lead the way with 11 nominations in this year's All-Star football awards.
Defeated finalists Donegal and Leinster champions Dublin are hot on their heels with nine each while Connacht champions Mayo have six players on the short list of 45.
Monaghan's achievements in winning Division 2 and reaching the Ulster final are recognised with four nominations while other counties represented include Armagh (two), Tipperary, Derry, Cork and Galway.
James O'Donoghue (Kerry), Diarmuid Connolly (Dublin) and Neil McGee (Donegal) are in the running for the Footballer of the Year gong while Donegal duo Ryan McHugh and Paddy McBrearty and Galway's Shane Walsh will battle it out for the Young Footballer equivalent.
The GPA membership will vote on the short lists for the two individual awards and all of the awards will be presented at the annual All-Stars banquet which takes place in the Convention Centre in Dublin on Friday October 24.
