On a balmy Sunday afternoon, the Termon U12 squad, accompanied by coaches and supporters, made the climb up Errigal with their trophy haul from another hugely successful year.
In keeping with tradition , these young champions brought an amazing five trophies to the summit of Errigal, and marked the occasion with a picnic and photos to record their achievements.
On display was the Jamie Toner Cup (Termon) , Harry Cassidy Cup (Buncrana) John McAleavy shield (Newry), the Paul Duffy Cup (Strabane) and the Northern board U12 title .
Coaches Paddy Gallagher and James Cassidy were full of praise for this bunch of young athletes . They were keen to emphasise that it was the general attitude and team ethos which was the main driver for their success ,notwithstanding the talent and natural abilitiy of the boys.
As always , the team had great support from parents and supporters, and all agreed it was a fine way to finish a wonderful year for the teams - the future looks bright for Termon.
