Minors bid for final spot
April 18, 2014
Donegal minors will be hoping to see off Armagh in the Ulster MFL semi final when the sides meet at O'Donnell Park on Saturday.
Declan Bonner's charges have won their last three matches to reach the semi final, defeating Fermanagh, Tyrone and Antrim along the way, while they also received a walkover from Derry.
Bonner admitted to the Donegal Democrat that facing Armagh will be a novel experience for this bunch of players at the weekend.
"Strangely we haven't come up against Armagh at under-15, 16 or 17 in the last few years. They are the only county in Ulster we haven't played," said Bonner.
Donegal still have a number of injury concerns ahead of the game as Niall Harley, Colm Kelly and Jamie Brennan all rated doubtful.
