Donegal's Joe Boyle wants to make up for the disappointment of their last loss to Sunday's Division 2b/3A relegation/promotion play-off opponents Fingal.

The North Dublin side defeated Donegal to win the 3A title last year, and Boyle still has bad memories of the game which he feels they should have won.

Speaking to the Donegal Democrat he said: "We were wild disappointed not to go up last year and that has been driving us on ever since because we felt we were good enough.

"I think this was confirmed when we won the Christy Ring Cup and ever since we started back training, the goal has been to win promotion. It was brilliant to win the Division Three title last week, but it will be a huge disappointment to us now if we don't complete the job and go up." Tweet
