Ulster MFL final: Treanor goal the difference

April 29, 2013
Monaghan claimed Ulster MFL honours after a 1-10 to 0-10 victory over Donegal last Saturday.

An early second half goal from Adam Treanor proved to be the difference between the sides in a eagerly fought clash at Brewster Park.

Donegal trailed by a single point at the interval - 0-6 to 0-5. Aiden Sweeney levelled matters after the resumption before Treanor had found the net on 35 minutes.

Conor McCormick fired over two '45's as Stephen Friel's Donegal side responded well.

However, points from Fearghal McMahon and Ryan McAnespie secured victory for Monaghan.
