Minor hurlers in Shield final
April 26, 2013
Donegal take on Monaghan in both codes at minor level this weekend.
This evening, Friday the minor hurlers head to the same venue as their football counterparts do the following day as Brewster Park is the venue for their clash against Monaghan in the Ulster minor hurling shield final.
Donegal have dual players Colm Kelly and James Brennan involved in both matches and this is the reason that the game is not being played as a double header.
Donegal have failed to win a game in this competition and are in the shield final, courtesy of a walkover from Derry.
Monaghan have won their last two games and will go into the match as slight favourites. Throw in at 7.30pm.
